Awesome after hours clinic

We took a weekend trip out of state. I realized my 21 month old had developed thrush in her mouth. She was in pain so I called the clinic and talked with the after hours nurse and they called me back immedantly and nurse Elizabeth and Dr.Fuller had us all set up with getting Medicain at a pharmacy in Tennessee! Within 45 minutes! I was amazed and thankful. Big thanks to this clinic for caring for us the way they did on a weekend!

Have been going here for 11 yrs without a problem (oldest child is 11). I took my 3yrs old here saturday due to her illness. My child was still sick Sunday night, so I couldn't go to work on Monday. When I called to see if I could get an excuse for Monday, the nurse told me(with sarcasam might I add) that per the doctor, he felt as if she would be able to return to daycare Monday, so he could not provide an excuse. Never once would they take in considerations someone's job. I'm not the type of parent that send my kids to school sick nor do I lay out of work! I have had a good rapport with the Pediatric clinic up until this point..I pay my co-pays/lab fees timely, etc. I am so disgusted that I am considering taking my kids medical needs elsewhere!

The Pediatric Clinic has truly improved since I initially took my oldest child to visit their doctors 10 years ago. All of the doctors I've met recently seem quite nice and knowledgeable. After visiting a few of the doctors we decided to see Dr. Young for our care. She really listens and has shown to know what she's doing. Our wait time seems minimal in comparison to other pediatric care that I'm aware of, and there is a spacious waiting area. I love that the clinic has urgent care available after hours and weekends. I do agree with another review in that some of the staff needs a bit of diversity training (nurses included).

My son saw Dr. Fuller and we both liked him a lot. He took his time, asked questions, and listened to my concerns. Other than the receptionist who demonstrated racial stereotypical ignorance by automatically assuming I needed Medicaid paperwork without even asking what kind of insurance I had, I have had a positive experience with this business.

I am not sure how this patient may have contacted our office or answering service, but we do provide 24 hour telephone coverage and extended office hours to our existing patients. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this same service to new patients (those who have not established with our clinic) because we do not have access to their current medical records. In this situation, the parent would be directed to call their current pediatrician (the one who saw this child at birth). This would be considered the standard of care.
