Use to be my favorite home town business. NOT so much anymore. I had a conversation with Rodney on a job. He quoted me a price between $85 - $150 to do the job and I authorized up to $150. The bill came today for $225. Rodney stated the job is billed at labor rate and it was more than $150, and it is not their policy to call the customer and get approval for anything above the approved price. Not so good for an 85 year old person on a very small fixed income. Told me he would charge me $150 but to “take my business elsewhere”. Told him that was great customer service and he said this customer was a “DORK” and hung up on me. Guess I will take Rodney’s advice and find another business to use in the future. Good advice for anyone else that is looking for flooring service.
