Two complaints - $187 in labor paid for 20 minutes in the house - that's over $500 per hour! Reviews are skewed. After service I got an email that directs you to a website which manipulates you to Google if you have good things to say. All negative reviews are sent internal and never seen by the public. Offered a discount after the fact but I declined on principle - make it right from the start and don't be afraid of ANY review!

We bought a used dryer from Nebraska Home Appliance in 9/2010 that had a 90 day warranty. When I first tried to use it, it would not heat. A tech came out and said that the dryer was not working because the dryer vent was plugged and it ruined a part that they replaced when they were getting it ready for resale. I asked the tech to show me the part. When he did, you could tell that the part was old because it was dirty and discolored. He admitted that this part was not replaced and said I would not be charged. I received an invoice for $42.75. I called and spoke with Todd. He said that this was all my fault because the vent was plugged. I stated that the vent was not plugged and that my previous dryer had no issues with heat and the tech did not clean the vent and the new dryer was working fine once he replaced the faulty part. Todd arrogantly said that he knew what he was talking about and I didn’t and if I did not pay the $42.75, they were going to send this to collections.

When my refrigerator broke, these guys got out the same day and I thought their rates were reasonable.
