Very poor quality service

Have been banking with them for a few years now. These people are NOT competent bankers. They have a very high bank manager turnover rate and in the process makes a lot of mistakes. In one instance I was told that I'm not a resident of NE because they don't have any records to show it. The real reason I found out is that their manager left and no one could find the paper work.In another instance I was checking on my car loan which had only two payments left on it. They told me I had another 12 payments and was completely clueless of the extra payments I've been making.Unless you like working with imbeciles, you should bank elsewhere.

Auto Loan/Audit Issues

On government mandated audits, American's "auto loan" audits are outscourced to KPMG. Niether company provides you with ANY contact information such as a telephone number or email address should you have any questions about your account or your audit. The form they send merely says "If this information agrees with your record no reply is necessary." Unfortunately, if your record DOESN'T agree with their information, there is only one, slow recourse for you as they don't offer you a "live" contact. In the advent that their information is incorrect, it appears they don't want anyone to "speak" to them about it! The only recourse offered the customer is to fill out a form on the reverse side of the form they sent you and mail it in - and wait while the interest continues accrue - and contintue to make payment after payment (that you might not need to make!) while you're waiting for the response.Bottom line analysis - Current account "status" and other information = Not so hot.
