Dr. Moseman was my physician for several years. That worked fine because, except for poison ivy, I was pretty healthy. Then I got very sick with a bad bronchial thing. She told me it was "viral" -- go home, rest, drink plenty of fluids. However, my boss said I couldn't miss work because "Hundreds of thousands of dollars are involved". I was getting sicker & sicker, but my boss said he couldn't let me off without a doctor's note. So I went to Moseman. She took an X-ray, said she saw nothing & didn't "feel comfortable" writing a note. Meanwhile, my husband got sick with what appeared to be the same thing. His physician gave him antibiotics & wrote a note for three days off work. He recovered, but I've had a chronic cough ever since. Six months later, when she took another X-ray Dr. Moseman saw a spot on my lungs -- it had been developing earlier but she missed the faint outline on the X-ray. She then finally sent me to a specialist but when he shrugged his shoulders, saying it was a "popcorn shaped spot" & didn't explain my cough, she gave up. About a year later I had rolling chest pains & the emergency rooms doctors reported an "arrythmia", recommending I follow up with my regular M.D. within three days. When I phoned Moseman's office, explaining what had happened, I was told she was "too busy" to see me for three weeks. I have a new doctor and, unlike Moseman, she is an activist. I still have the cough, am treated like Thypoid Mary in lines in stores & have had lots of mean things said to me for something I cannot help, but at least my new doctor is trying & has improved it some. I now know what a really good doctor is like!
