NO, if another company is charging twice a much, run to the other company! You will still save money. After years of costly repairs with Steward doing all them which included 2 coils, a central a/c compressor plus several cleanings because the system kept freezing up, I realized we had been told to use a filter which was 2 inches smaller than what the system called for. AND, at least 4 different technicians didn't notice it!

Absolute worst customer service experience possible. Service tech came out around closing time on Friday for broken AC. Charged $126 to spend 10 minutes replacing a capacitor and said the unit was fixed. He left and within the hour the AC was still not working properly. Called back Sat at opening and they assured someone would be out as soon as possible. 48 hrs later and no calls and no service, despite numerous calls to the office that all went to voicemail. Therefore, my renters had 3 days at 100 degrees with no air. Monday, went to the main office and requested someone come out first thing and not be billed again for a $95 trip charge. Owner said he would get to it sometime in the morning and it was probably a separate issue that would be charged again. Informed him it was the same issue and that I should not be billed again or he needed to refund my money for the Friday trip. The owner told his secretary to "give the S.O.B. his money back so I can throw him out of here!" Never once did they say they were sorry or show any concern for not calling to cancel. Expect the worst if you call Steward!

This company is owned and operated by honest, dependable, trustworthy, and knowlegable people who know how to get the job done right. I would highly reccomend them. All of my questions and concerns were anwered promptly and to my satisfaction. The staff is friendly and helpful. A+++
