My first night in Old Orchard was basically ruined by my visit to this restaurant. It was my small party and another waiting to be seated. We were seated quickly by the hostess who was a bit snappy. After waiting awhile, we noticed that the party that came in afterwards already had silverware and drinks. We had not been greeted by anyone. I looked around to see that the place was a little busy but there were plenty of staff to accommodate. After waiting for a total of 20 minutes I finally got the attention of a waitress who was giving the booth behind me the check. I did explain to the waitress that we had been waiting for 20 minutes and no one had even come to even take our drink orders. I even asked if, "She could get our waitress?" The waitress grumbled and took our orders as if we were twisting her arm. We put our drink and meal orders in all at the same time. The waitress returned promptly with our drinks and bread. I then realized our table didn't have utensils. When the waitress came around I mentioned it to her. 5 minutes later the hostess came and dropped the utensils without even saying a word. I did not understand how or why this was happening. We had not been there long enough to offend anyone before this disaster began. As for the meal, it was okay. Nothing to go crazy over.

The prices did not complement the meager portions. We also never received our two salads but were still charged for it.



This was by far the worse dining experience I have had in my 26 years of life. If I do return to Old Orchard for a second round, I will steer clear from this atrocious restaurant. I also called 2x to speak to the manager to give her a heads up of what had happened. It was already after a left so I was not trying to get anything out of the deal. The manager was unavailable to come to the phone both times.



P.s.I went to Johnny Rockets one night and although the food is extremely different & cheap. The service I received was like a breath of fresh air compared to the Bell Buoy Restaurant!!!
