Dr. Dunay has been my doctor for 20 years. I trust her 100%. She is an excellent diagnostician, and she cares. Her secretary has given me an appointment the same day when I need Dr. Dunay!
She treated my 93-year-old mother and correctly diagnosed her as she has me!
She was a god as far as my mom was concerned, and I feel the same way.
She will not just write a prescription; she sits and listens (unlike other doctors).
If she ever retires, I have no idea what I would do!
I called her once and she said to me, let me call you back in 15 minutes, my son is about to go onstage. In 15 minutes, she returned my call.
I've had dealings with other doctors in my life; she is superior!

Dr Darlene Dunay is one of the best doctors in northeast PA. In emergencies, she can fit you in despite having a booked schedule. Her expertise in diagnosis is very good especially with difficult cases. She is willing to learn about what she doesn't know and send you for further treatment when needed. As an osteopath, she will use manipulation when needed. This knowledge helped me greatly. I cannot ask for a better doctor.

This doctor over medicates her patients. She doesn't have any idea what she's doing. She prescribes narcotics in excessive doses without a proper diagnosis.

I called this doctor up in the early morning,she was on call,and I told her my problem.I had trouble urinating so I thought she would be able to call in an antibiotic. Except when she answered I told her my name and stated my problem. I stated how long I was having this bladder problem( about 24-36 hours ) and asked her if she could cal in a prescription...She immediately cut me off before I could finish stating my symtoms and said,"Do you know it's 5am? Call the office at 9am and come down...It's 5am.." So though she was on call,she was angered that I called her at 5am with my problem...When you have a bladder issue,and need to go but can't,you do not wait until 9am to consult a doctor,you call ASAP...So I rate her and her bedside manner as terrible..I am currently seeking a new doctor....This is not the first time something like this has happened...Her service could have been improved if she was simply a little more understanding. If you are on call,then you should expect that you may get a phonecall from a patient...
