Terrible, horrible, unforgettable (not in a good way) experience with Hertz in general, but specifically the one on 105th and Metcalf. Reserved a car to go home and see family for Thanksgiving, but not only does their site not check for inventory before it allows a reservation to go through, their "pay now" policy should be considered false advertising or bait and switch. It explicitly says on the site that you won't be charged until time of pick up, which is MOST CERTAINLY NOT TRUE. Not only will the site allow you to book a reservation for a car THEY DON'T HAVE, they'll take your money when their site says they won't. It over drafted us THE WEEK OF THANKSGIVING, and the 105th location didn't even cancel the reservation AFTER THEY CALLED and said they didn't have a car for us. It took 3 calls and being transferred SEVERAL different times to finally get across that we were charged for a car we didn't have. But wait there's more...now we wait 7-10 days to get the anount it over drafted us by back. Happy Holiday's from Hertz. Needless to say, I won't be renting from Hertz ever again and I'll be telling all my friends and family to do the same.
