HOW Oklahoma duct cleaning cleans a typical home: 1. The very first thing we DO is introduce ourselves and asked to BE shown through the home SO that we CAN totally survey what your home's specific needs are. For example. We take into consideration flooring and what measures we might need to address to insure that OUR procedure will NOT cause ANY problems. OUR basic philosophy about coming into someone Else's home. Is that we treat it AS we would want OUR homes to BE treated. 2. We locate ALL of the ductwork AS well AS where the furnace (S) are. 3. We then move OUR truck to the most appropriate place to have closest access to the furnace. 4. Once OUR truck is in place. We GO to the furnace and GET access to both the return and supply plenums. AS well AS GO inside the home to each vent and cover them. 5. AS soon AS we have access to both the plenums. We “TIE in” OUR 8 inch (in diameter) hose to ONE of the TWO plenums. 6. We then start OUR machine which will pull a vacuum on whichever side we are working on. Supply or return. 7. Once the vacuum is created in the ductwork. We take OUR high pressure AIR hose to the furthest vent from the furnace and USE what we call OUR “skipper hose” to RUN down through the ductwork. The skipper hose is a transparent hose that on the END of it has is the actual “skipper”. This device is a little BIT smaller then a golf ball and has a bullet type shape. It has holes machined into it that when AIR is pushed through the hose. It propels itself down through the ductwork AS well AS scrapes anything OFF the walls of the ducts. Of course with a vacuum that is pulling 15.000 to 17.000 CFM anything that is being stirred UP it is being pulled OUT to OUR truck. Once we are done with that duct. We move to the next closest duct to the furnace until we cover ALL of the ductwork in the house. 8. We then make sure we have cleaned both of the plenums of the system. 9. Once the ductwork is completely cleaned. We then focus on the furnace. We clean the blower housing. Motor and the blower itself. Then we clean the heat exchanger of the furnace. Then we clean the evaporator coil. 10. Once ALL of the cleaning is done. OUR technicians are trained to identify ANY chemical treatment that might BE needed. If there is a mold or mildew issue. Then we USE OUR MICROBAN treatment. If there are other issues such AS odor then we have the chemicals to treat that AS well. 11. After everything is cleaned and the appropriate chemicals are used. We then start the process of putting everything back together and cleaning UP. 12. After everything is PUT back together we then RUN the appropriate cycle for whatever season it is. If its winter. We make sure the furnace turns on and heats and cycles back OFF. If it is summer time then we DO the same. Making sure that the home cools and cycles OFF again. 13. Once we are sure the system (S) we have been working on are in good working order. We make a final walk through the home to make sure we Didn’t leave anything of ours AS well AS make sure your home is AS clean AS it was before we GOT there.
