I am a disabled veteran with a mountain high stack of medical records documenting injuries to my shoulders in service. I was referred to Dr. Jackson by my primary care physician to receive pain management for chronic pain. His staff treats people like they are drug addicts who are simply seeking a quick high. I told them that hydrocodone does not help me unless I take large doses and they looked at me like I was insane. They prescribed me medication that I have already told him I had taken in the past and had not helped (medication that also was in my medical records as having been prescribed in the past) and didnt care when I told them that I had used the medicine before and it hadnt helped. They then prescribed a different medication that no pharmacy seems to carry, and after two weeks without having any access to my much needed medication, I called the office to ask Dr Jackson what I should do. The nurse rudely informed me that I had to do what they said and take the medication they prescribed or I was breaking my contract with them. After calling the office to request a referral to a different physician they threatened to kick me out of their program. They dont return phone calls when promised and they treat patients like crap. Stay away from this guy.
