I was not informed of my mothers death. She died a year and a half ago. I recently phoned the home to enquire about my mother. A woman named, Lorraine said, "She died a year and a half ago". When I told her who I was she said, "I didn't know she had a daughter", which is a lie. About three years ago a staff member named, Crystal, sent me a letter dictated by my mother. I spoke to Crystal on the phone at the time as well. I was told there had never been a person named Crystal who worked there.



I feel this is a very unseemly and unsavory place. I asked Lorraine to help me, and take my name and phone number and have someone phone me from the administration office. She did nothing, and was very cold over the phone. She told me she would not give me the date of my mother's death unless I came down there and proved I was my mother's daughter. I told her it was impossible, as I live in Washington D.C., and could not afford plane fare.



I phoned back days later. When I said who I was, and why didn't inform me of my mother's death, they hung up on me. I phoned three times, and they hung up on me each time. They accused me of being belligerant. I was in tears and was just asking for someone to help me in this matter. They were all very cold.



I will report this establishment to the proper authorities to file a formal complaint.
