I moved from Las Vegas to OKC in January 2021. After 30 years in Vegas, it's hard having to find a good honest mechanic to entrust your car to. I asked my brother who he recommended, that wasn't a dealership, and he recommended An Thanh's auto service. My brother has never recommended anything bad, and he definitely wasn't wrong on this one either. Even out of the 2 mechanics I trusted in all of Las Vegas, I don't think I've met a more honest sweet and humble person. And that's aside from the fact this is an awesome auto shop.

I've been taking my car almost two years now, and he's the only place I'll take my car to, save one time when I had to go to a dealership to have some safety software updated. An Thanh, I feel, has never overcharged me or recommended anything my car didn't need. And if I thought something was up with my car, I would take it in to get checked out, and if he felt it was something that didn't need to be addressed right away and just keep an eye on it, he would tell me so. And you know what? He was right. And if something was up with the car that he noticed and I hadn't, he would take the time to me and he would show me what he was talking about and explain the issue. An Thanh always spelled out exactly what he was going to do and how much it would cost me, and if any additional cost was incurred, he would immediately call me and let me know. And knowing my whacky work schedule in my line of legal work, An Thanh always worked to fit me in, especially on the weekends when I'm free for the most part.

And regarding any negative reviews that may be on here, I would say this: weigh those against An Thanh's 40+ years in business. In my experience, you don't stay in business that long without a good track record, especially in as competitive an industry as auto repair and when weighing competition for business between big auto dealerships against small businesses like this.

An Than has been my son's go-to guy for car repair for years. Naturally, when I needed work done on my car I took it to An Than. I was so pleased! He not only did a wonderful job on several items, but the cost was amazingly conservative. It's been 4 months and no issues! I'll be back!!

I needed to have a compressor replaced. I called & confirmed with an-thanh on a good estimate ($400), but after the car dropped off an-thanh called & said the actual cost was really $650 for used & >$1k for new part. He put me in a bad situation. Since I couldn't take any additional time off from work I decided to go w/ used part to stay close to budget. The used part failed to work due to leak after replacement, and he refused to repair it because it not warranty. I have to spend another $900 to bring my car somewhere else for a new compressor. An-thanh was deceptive and that costed me >$1.5k. An-thanh caused me a lot of bad feeling & lots of money!

An Thanh has great service. He gets your car out when you need it. An thanh is a great mechanic. Thats why he's been in buisness for more then 25 years
