Since I consider myself a bit ignorant as to lawn care, it has been a pleasant experience having had a tech who has answered numerous questions and given me down to earth responses. I like my lawn and there is no doubt its because of the care its received from TruGreen.

I've had good results from TruGreen. I recently found out the brown spots on my lawn were from over watering. Now I've changed that and they've started turning back to green. I live in an HOA and they require our front yards be green and weed-free along with our front gardens. I have had nothing but problems with the weeds, especially dandelions, in the last few years and tried everything I could think of. Now that my front grass is growing again and the garden is good, it's just a matter of getting rid of the weeds.

I originally tried to go through TruGreen, but before their first visit I had to call them 3 times to have them fix the problems they created!! My neighbor told me to try Scotts. On their 1st visit they messed up. I called in absolutely livid!!! I spoke with Caitlyn who patiently listened to every swear word and frustrated feeling I had. I asked her if she cold help me or if she needed to get me to a manager. Without even a second of hesitation she advised me that she could not only help me, but that she would be happy to. She called my tree and shrub tech, called me back and told me he would be there in 10-15 minutes... he was! Then she called me a few hours later letting me know the timeframe of when my lawn service specialist would be there. He even called me 20 minutes before, just so I had a heads up that he was on his way. Caitlyn went above and beyond to retain our service. Nicholus Eves, our tree and shrub specialist, and Peter Meyr, our lawn care specialist, were patient, kind, knowledgeable, professional and absolutely friendly!! We just bought this home, and it is the yard of our dreams, but we have no idea how to care for it. We needed someone to walk through with us to explain what we need to do between our treatments to properly maintain our yard to receive the best results. We know this isn't the industry standard, but we just wanted them to walk through it with us on this 1st visit so we had some knowledge as to what we needed to do. My husband runs a restaurant, so customer care and quality products are the number one thing we look for! Caitlyn, Nick and Peter proved to us that they aren't the industry standard, they are the Industry Exception!!! Thank you to Caitlyn, Nick and Peter for your exceptional service!!!

Provided by YP.comIf there was a zero star, I would rate them as that. Initially the rep circled several services on a flier and then wrote, "$48 for you yard!" After they came and did the service, I noticed that they only did a couple of things that I thought they were going to do. I called the rep, he said that the services he mentioned and circled on the flier were services that they COULD do, not things that they WOULD do. In the end they just put down fertilizer and weed killer. I overpaid for sub par service. I will never do business with them again. Please don't waste your time with them!

Provided by YP.comService has been good in the beginning 10 years + ago but has since lost all and or any regard for the customer. False promises and poor follow through from staff and even worse the Management team.
When their treatment isn't working it’s like pulling teeth to get them to correct the issue. You will be further ahead to look into other companies who would value the customers more.

Provided by YP.comI prepayed for a year's worth of service. The rep said there was a money back guarantee. I noticed my lawn did not significantly change. We still have weeds, uneven color... not a healthy lawn like the first representative had promised. I figured I'd give it a year. When I called in about getting my money back, they said that they had already done all applications and that I should have told them early on. I requested a refund and they were not willing to budge (as per their so-called guarantee). They came back and applied their chemicals twice, without my knoweledge. Then I called and told them I had not authorized it. They said that the service would continue regardless of my consent unless I cancel. I immediately cancel and asked where I consented to renew, and the rep said I had signed something (which I didn't). I asked to have a copy of my contract sent to me. I was place on hold for 10 minutes and hung up. I called back and then spoke with another rep who said that there was no written contract but that I had allegedly spoken to someone over the phone to give my consent and that it was recorded. I said "great then I want to hear what I've agreed to because I didn't consent to having your services roll over. I agreed to try you out just for 1 year and pay up front." She said she'd call back with the audio of my consent. Another rep calls and says they've lost my verbal consent, but that I still have to pay for something I didn't want. Horrible service, they were not willing to budge in the name of customer service. There goes $500+ down the drain. And, mylawn looks the same as before their first application! Horrible!

Provided by YP.comThese guys do a great job and they are considerate of my requests. I've used other lawn care providers before and I am glad I switched. They are polite and have great quality for the price. The only improvement I would like to see is to have them call a day ahead so I can plan on them instead of having them just show up.
