I will NEVER use McKay Travel Golden Getaways again! And I will make sure EVERYONE I know does not either. We paid for a trip to Hawaii in 2015. Unfortunately, because of unforeseen circumstanceses we had reschedule. McKay were great in 2015 and we were excited to work with them again in 2017. This time was so different. It took months to get the trip scheduled and when it was finally scheduled the terms had changed. From the beginning we had requested 2 rooms with doors and 2 full bathrooms. McKay Travel agreed to this, however, when we received our itinerary we were booked in a 1 bed and open loft with 1 bathroom. McKay's solution was an additional $315, after many discussions, they agreed to the 2 room with 2 bathrooms. But what they did not tell us was that in exchange for the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom room we would loose 1 night of paid accommodations. The conformation of the 2 bedroom condo showed 6 night 7 days. It was not until checking to our hotel that we realized that we were only booked for 5 nights. We really thought it was an oversight and that we would call McKay and it would be fixed. After spending countless hours of our vacation time trying resolve this issue we ultimately paid an additional $1200.00 to book new flights. We had a great time in Hawaii and will go back but we WILL NEVER use McKay Travel Golden Gayeways again! BEWARE!!

Usually I do not give ratings, but considering my horrible experience with this company I will do it.
Beware to these crooks because they promise things , taking your money and get you in a lot of trouble. Liars, liars, liars.
Worst company ever I dealt with. If you go business with them , you will risk your money and waste your time. Beware of Don the owner!!!! When I explained the situation his employees created to me and all the frustration, guess what; he laughed and talk like nothing happened, although was 5 months late to return my money back.
So people AVOID this company for travel business unless you really want to have headache and loose your money.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! This company is everything that all the negative reviews say. I also had a prepaid voucher that I got from my bank. I called to use it and got a run around with a promise of return contact. They never contacted me again. They never answered or returned my phone calls again. I left a complaint with B.B.B. and they never contacted or returned their multiple attempts to make contact. These people are scammers! I will be informing my bank that they got swindled!

I too had a voucher for a room. This company lacks professionalism and follow through. I felt like the information they were giving me was biased so I contacted the hotel directly, then made the agent at golden getaways call the motel. I still feel like I was ripped off a bit, but it is done. I have had to call several times to make sure they followed through. I would not recommend using this company

I've used golden getaways 3 times now. They are great! I found them because I got a vacation voucher for a 2 night stay in LasVegas it was amazing! They have great customer service and explain the voucher very well remember the voucher has to be set up 30 days in advanced. we loved the hotel on the strip second time we went to Disneyland and they set the package for us it was 900 for a 3 days to Disneyland for me and my wife hotel airfare and hotel they even got us a character breakfast at Paradise Pier!! The last time I used them was for a business trip they got me a cheap flight to Seattle and a 4 star hotel! me and my wife use them every time we travel now
