I was referred to Dr. Ellis by my family and as well as by multiple people that have had great experiences with him. Sounding like a story, "It was the week before Thanksgiving..." literally! I as in town from Houston to visit family for the Thanksgiving holiday and one of my war injuries from my younger military years cropped it's nasty head. I had been in a fight years ago and broke two of my front teeth. Although they had been fixed 30-ish years ago, it was time for them to call it quits and pop off due to age, decay and deterioration~! I called Dr. Ellis's office and although their schedule was full all the way up to the day before Thanksgiving, they were compassionate and knew that my holiday would be ruined if my teeth weren't fixed right away and made me the last patient of the day before the entire staff went home.Dr. Ellis said, "turn off the phone and crank up the music... We're gone! Let's get this done!" And that he did! Within less than an hour and ZERO pain (during or after), I had a root canal and two new teeth! I've always had anxiety and fear when going to my previous dentist, mainly from bad experiences in the past. Dr. Ellis was highly recommended to me by a friend, and after my first visit, I felt very comfortable and at ease with him. On a recent visit, I was in need of some dental repairs, and it was the first time I have gone pain free during a procedure!! My faith is restored in dentists, thanks to Dr. Ellis.

I am over 60 yrs. old and have always hated going to the dentist, but not any more. Dr. Ellis and his staff, each and everyone of them, are outstanding. I have always been a nervous wreck, for days even before my appt., I would cancel appts. because I would be too scared to go....then, along came Dr. Ellis...TA~DA...now I go in for my appt. smiling and I leave smiling too. Dr. Ellis and his staff are ALL amazing people. Even the shots don't hurt, I swear!! Honestly, I feel like I'm family when I'm there. Next year I am moving to Brigham City, my address will change but not my dentist. If you think you have a good dentist now, you should still try Dr. Ellis and see what an awesome dentist is like.

Dr. Ellis personally meets all his new patient's, even before they get their cleaning done, he is interested in your dental past, what your expectations are so he can better serve you, and he's interested in you as a person, not just a patient. I was very impressed with my visit there and have never had such a positive experience visiting the dentist!

I recently took my family to see Dr. Ellis. We had has some poor experience in the past with Dentist, so changing to a new one is always a chance. I need to let you know that this was a chance worth taking. From setting up the appointment, dealing with a child that is terrified of dentist, to kindly making suggestions on changes our family can make to have better dental care - best dental experience we have had. All our paperwork was filled out at home and brought into the office. They were considerate with my kids and addressed their fears and spoke to them about their teeth on a level they could understand. I loved the way that they explained reasons behind why our teeth are the way they are, and what we can do to better our outcome next time we come in. We loved the digital ex-rays and how up to date Dr.Ellis and his staff are. And the service went down to the billing. He explained all charges upfront so there would be no surprises. His staff knew about our insurance and offered suggestions on dental insurance. So if you want to make a good move to a great dentist Dr.Ellis and his staff are great move!

He really takes the time to explain every procedure that I need to have done. He also tries to give me a estimate of the cost. That way I know what I'm up against. Thanks.

Honest, friendly and knows his stuff! Puts people at ease and works well with kids! Great dentist!

Dr Ellis is an amazing dentist. The only issue I have with him is that he is a BYU fan :( I have referred all my family members and friends. Check out all the other reviews from happy, satisfied customers.

I travel over 50 miles to get to the dentist...and I'm there a lot (I have had years of bad tooth care habits). The staff is fantastic, the doc is fantastic and the results are great!

Just one week ago I had my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Jim Ellis. I was very nervous about the procedure going in to it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it was over with! There was no pain through out the procedure, and Dr. Ellis explained the procedure thoroughly before hand so I knew exactly what to expect. After surgery I experienced very minimal amounts of pain and I was not swollen at all. Recovery went really well, and the dentist office even called me a couple days later to check up on me which I thought was really nice. Overall it was a really great experience; not bad at all. Everyone at the office is very friendly, and very professional. I would Definitely recommend Dr. Jim Ellis for your dental care! :)

On our first visit to Dr. Ellis It was so nice to see a dentist take the time and sit down for 5 minutes to get to know and introduce himself to you rather than hear you in and out.

I have gone into have my teeth x-rayed and examined to see what needs to be done with my dreaded wisdom teeth. As someone who has some high anxiety about dentistry i was surprised at how calm i felt. Dr. Ellis is very kind and patient and makes you feel like you are just hanging out with your friend. His rates are affordable and He is willing to work out payment plans too. The office is also comfy and there are a lot of cool kids toys if you have to bring your tot. I go back in august 11th to have mu wisdom teeth removed and i am actually really excited about it. I will update my review once the surgery is over, but i have a feeling i'm going to be a-ok.

Dr Ellis is GREAT!!! My husbands tooth had been bothering him for a couple months. We brought him in and Dr Ellis found his old root canal was done wrong by his old dentist and there was infection going on. We are happy with the treatment option he gave him and the time he spent with us!!!! Dr. Ellis is definatly the best dentist we have been to by far!!!

As a 70 year old patient I ventured into the denture world. 1 specialist, 2 dentists and countless hours spent in the dental chair was the most frustrating experience of my life, and the end result was always the same. Sore spots, broken edges, etc. In all that time spent, It took Dr. Ellis ONE visit to correct the errors of past and provide me with the most comfortable fit top and bottom and aligned my implants perfectly all completed chairside in his office. Here is the kicker ... NO LAB FEE!!! I am so grateful for the knowledge and care Dr. Ellis provides me. He was the only one that listened with care and actual concern. I would recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone and everyone! Thank you Dr. Ellis for renewing my eating abilities! Marlin G.

Dr. Ellis is not afraid to take that little bit of extra time to get to know me as well as my teeth. I learned that I've been trying a little too hard in brushing my teeth and damaged my gums a bit. I've been to many dentists over my 50 yrs and not one dentist or hygenist ever took the time to tell me this very important "little" thing which cannot be reversed now. I'm glad that I at least know now so I won't make it worse! HE took the time and it made all the difference to me. Kate :)

As always when you have children it seems that when something happens when you need a dentist or a doctor it happens on a weekend. My son on Friday afternoon jaw almost tripled in size, worried and concerned I called Dr Ellis he prescribed some antibiotics and said if there was no improvement to call him. After about 3 doses there was no sign of improvement , so reluctantly I called Dr Ellis at 9:30 at night . He was out of town on his way home with his family and answered my call and told me to meet him at his house at 10:30... To make a long story short we ended up driving to his office at 11:00 at night to pull a abscessed tooth.. On top of that he had a race he was running the next day that he never mentioned til he called to check on Landon the next day to see how he was doing... So would I recommend Dr Ellis? In a heart beat , he is a very sweet caring person and his wife Tif is the best so I'll be going to Dr Ellis from here on out.

...and Dr. Ellis is one of them. He has a warm and sincere demeanor that quickly puts a person at ease. His communication skills are amazing and I am 100% comfortable with having him tend to my family's dental health--he's that great! His office staff are wonderful, too.

I rate Dr. Ellis and his office with 5 stars. they have always given me great service and their work is relatively pain free. I've had teeth pulled, implants, crowns, bridges, fillings, cleaning - the works. I'm always impressed with the quality of the work and the respect for the patient. I have had one bad experience after another with Dentists for so long, that I finally quit going, thus causing a world of destruction and pain within my mouth. I had heard of Dr. Ellis through a friend and decided, "What can it hurt?" I was already dealing with pain on a daily basis. Dr. Ellis and his staff seemed nice enough, so I took a chance and went to my first of a lot of appointments. I was beyond nervous and a little stressed, but they were all so helpful and kind. They made me feel as though I was the only patient they had to deal with. Then came in the DENTIST, my worst nightmare on a goodnight, but he didn't fit the bill. He was attentive, not only to what I was saying, but to what my face was saying, constantly making sure I was comfortable. He did a great job, and I will be going back for all those other appointments. I strongly recommend Dr. Ellis to anyone in search of a great Dentist.

I have a huge fear of going to the dentis but Dr. Ellis and his staff made me feel very comfortable from the very first visit. His chairside mannors are amaizing as well as the work he performs. I have deffinately found my 1 and only dentist.
