We were first suppose to go to court for a child custody issue in December, as my husband's ex wife had filed some paperwork wanting us to reimburse some of her costs; When we saw Jill we were told that it was a silly case and wouldn't be any trouble; In December we paid her $1500; She called or rather her paralegal called to tell us the other counsel had to reschedule so the case was scheduled for January; First of all the case should have never been rescheduled and we wouldn't have agreed to such but she ensured us it was best so she had more time to prepare. The following month we got a bill and guess what she as in Jill Cottle is who requested it to be rescheduled and not only that spent our money to do such!! Then in January the judge rescheduled; we finally went to court in February; not only did she show up 10 minutes late to court, she hadn't filed any of the evidence with the court, and had no idea what was what!!! So here we are in April, and we just called because we still havn't got a copy of the court papers which we will need to set up my stepdaughters summer visitation and we're told "the judge runs on judge time" no telling how long it will be!!!! Not to mention she managed to run through almost every dollar we gave her when she originally told us it wouldn't take but maybe $500 dollars. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! We were lucky and didn't have to pay back my husbands ex but that was no thanks to Jill Cottle.
