Our education and years of experience in the machinist trade give us valuable insight and advantage on how to better serve our customers. We will often offer suggestions to make parts work better and last longer. Even the smallest job is worth doing right. Our emphasis is on providing quality items and parts for our customers.Cooneys Machine Shop has been serving Northern Utah since 1965. Founder John L Cooney Jr started has trade at Hill Air Force Base before serving in the army in WWII. After his time in the service, he found a challenging position at the Marquardt Corporation and excelled in his position. He had quite a passion for the machine work trade. He became a lead man and then supervisor in the companies aerospace tooling and design department.He started his own shop in the family garage in the mid 1960s. He relocated the business in the early 1970s to its present location at 950 west 25th street, in west Ogden.Today the shop is at the same location and operated with the same old school values. We provide high quality parts and service for our customers in a timely manner. We stand ready to serve you.
