In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience. Our menu offers comfort food classics, and our entire menu is offered all day long. Whether you are craving pancakes at 8 pm or pot roast at 8 am - we've got something for everyone. Enjoy your meal in our family-friendly, cabin-themed diner with our welcoming staff or order to enjoy in the comfort of your home.

My kids gave me a gift card for my BIRTHDAY, so the wife went to breakfast on Tuesday Morning at the BLACK BEAR DINER at 366 E. 12th Street in Ogden, Utah. Instead of having Breakfast we both lunch. The wife ordered a Patty Melt W/ French Fries and I had the TRI-TIP DIP 10" sandwich which come with French Fries and Cole Slew and both meals were great value for the size and $$. We went the following Saturday Afternoon to have lunch and ended up eating Breakfast ! The had the PATTY SAUSAGE breakfast the comes W/ Two eggs any style, Strip style hashbrown or Country Red Potatoes with a homemade biscuit that was about four or five inches square and four or five inches thick. I had the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK W/ Two eggs any style, Strip style hash browns or Country Red Potatoes and a homemade that was four or five inches square and four or five inches thick ... By the time we were finished with our meals we couldn't eat another bit. The food is great and well worth the money ...
I would recommend this restaurant to any looking for a good setting and great food is the place to go at is at the BLACK BEAR DINE on 366 E. 12th Street in Ogden, Utah or any of the one from Ogden to South Salt Lake City ... Horay for the BLACK BEAR DINE'S
