Aspen Grove Veterinary Clinic is an equine veterinary hospital serving Northern Utah.  Established in 1995, it began as an ambulatory practice.  By 1999, the practice had grown enough to support a full-service hospital.  Built at our current location in West Haven, Utah, our hospital allows us to offer a full range of services including preventive care, surgery, medicine, critical care/emergencies, dentistry, and reproduction in addition to excellent lameness and rehabilitation services.  Farm calls are also available for most services, if needed.  Each year we expand the scope of our services and purchase new equipment, allowing us to continue to provide the best medical care for your horse.

Miss SantaMonicaCowgirl is an outright liar and fraud. She has made it her goal to get on any site she can to bash Vet Taylor.

From those involved in the checkup the horse was long gone. She also refused services that could have saved her horse.

Had Miss Cowgirl called Vet Taylor when her horse showed symptoms of colic, this could have gone much better. Instead, she chose to wait too long and refused surgery.

It disgusts me that someone would lie like she has to bash a vet that couldn't save her horse because she was too dumb to call sooner.

Vet Taylor saved my horse from a twisted gut and spent two days with her at his vet office to save her life and did save her.

she is now a happy, healthy horse!

Do yourself a favor Miss Cowgirl and get educated on the symptoms of colic. You are to blame and you alone!!

Aspen Grove Veterinary Clinic

Dr. Taylor has been my vet for many years. He is very knowledgeable about all horses including my 8 miniatures! He was the only vet in the area that could do a vaginal spading for my quarter horse. The price was more than fair and my mare was doing great after only Five days, compared with other types of spading which takes many weeks and months to recover! I was back to riding her hard within two weeks!I recommend Aspen Grove to anyone who loves their horses! Also the Doc and staff are wonderful to work with !!

Run!!! Irresponsible, Incompetent, Unethical

One star is too high - This vet is UNETHICAL, IRRESPONSIBLE, and over-charges. Dean was called when my otherwise healthy horse had colic. He spent about 15 minutes on-site, gave my horse only banamine paste (a $40 value) and instructed us to run out and get Metamucil from Wall Mart. Seriously?! The standard of care is tubing. He charged $314.69 and demanded payment on site. That is a $274.69 farm call, folks.Of course, this "treatment" solved nothing and another vet had to be called out. The second vet, who showed up when he was not on call, conducted a thorough exam, provided the standard of care tubing with mineral oil, and gave more banamine, charged $335. Unfortunately, it was too late to save my sweet guy.For the record, if Dean had done the responsible thing, I would have happily paid him $1k and my first born child. My advice: Save your babies. Save your wallet. RUN. RUN FAST.

They hate fat people.

Was in for lameness test, was going fine until a pretty skinny girl came in, after that Dr. Taylor ignored me and gave all his attention to her. And the new girl they have working as a Vet. Tech at night was rude as well and she acted like she had no clue what she was supposed to do.
