The Doggy Bag dog bakery and gift shop opened in April of 2003, quite by chance. The idea began during one of our walks around nearby Fowler Lake with our son dog, Cinnamon, a beautiful Siberian Husky who became our dog when our son moved away. You know how that is! We made our usual stop at Cinnamon favorite store, a local dog bakery in historic downtown Oconomowoc for his usual ginger squirrel dog treat. We learned the dog bakery was going to close. By the time we made it back home, we had plans to talk to the owners and buy the business.
