I hired Hybrid Turf, Marc Morningstar, mostly off of positive Yelp reviews, he seemed like a guy who wouldn't screw you over, and had a very competitive quote.
There was lies about project completion time repeatedly and no communication. We signed a contract on 9/20/16 with an estimated start date of 10/10/16 with a 10 day completion date. There was weeks that went by with little to no work and coming to my house with no warning or heads up when his crew did show up! It was to the point where I knew I was never going to see the project complete and asked for my money back. He said that it wasn't Walmart and I don't get a full refund. He also tried to get MORE money out of me telling lies about a bank account he supposedly had even though he cashed my checks through a different bank. I have called, send multiple messages, and never get an answer or message back. I've sent a demand of payment letter and he refuses to pay me even portions of my money back. His license has been revoked and he is STILL scamming others. The drainage was not done properly and my back yard becomes a flood now too!
I've learned some expensive lessons ... 1) California law says you only have to pay 10% or $1000 down and 2) Make sure you search the persons name because he did this to people in Arizona as well under a different company name.

Please do not hire Marc Morningstar or Hybrid Turf.

My lawn is finally green. Everything went great with these guys and I have received many comments of how real it looks. The install itself went very smoothly and their crew was very

professional. Very satisfied with their work.

Hybrid Turf started my job on7/29/15 and worked about 2 weeks when they quit. Up to this date, 9/23/15 I can not get a new start date.

Its been an insane struggle to keep our grass from getting killed by our four legged miscreant. After years of trying to get something to grow, we finally looked into alternatives, and we truly lucked out when we gave Marc a call. From the moment we started doing business with him, he was an absolute professional, and was able to answer all of my concerns with making the transition over to artificial turf. His prices are pretty amazing, and overall, it was a pain free transition. I now am happy to say I made the right choice in transitioning over to artificial grass.

We had been struggling to keep our grass up to par this year and with the water cuts it was just getting more difficult. We called Hybrid Turf for an estimate and it fit our budget range. Mark and his crew were so cooperative with what we wanted and had very real looking grass samples to choose from. They installed in about 2 days and we are very pleased with the final result. Highly recommended!

Sure my small area was only 300 square feet but I really wanted grass there. When the grass wouldn't grow I called a few companies for quotes. Mark at Hybrid Turf was caring and friendly. When I said that it needed to be installed by a certain date he said no problem. And out of the 5 quotes I got, Hybrid was the least expensive. The installers were clean and quick. But out of all these things, the thing that was ultimately best, was the turf. It looks and feels great. They even went the extra mile and put some nice edging in for me. I'm super stoked on my new lawn! I highly recommend this company. Thanks Mark!
