The guys from Capitol Tree were working at another house on my street and I walked over and they gave me a quote right away. Then they surprised me an hour later when they'd finished at my neighbor's and came over to my house. Within a couple hours they'd removed a dead street tree, trimmed up a live oak we were hoping to save (and did) and had the place cleaned up better than when they arrived! The next morning one of their guys brought their amazing stump grinder and again, did a great job getting the stumps I needed to be ground, all cleaned up.
They impressed me so much that we had them back to do trimming and clean up on 8 very tall pines around the house. Watching Justin climb these trees and wield his chainsaw 80' in the air was amazing! Sadly he found one tree badly damaged up top and in need of removal. But, they gave me a good price for this unexpected work and again, had things done and cleaned up and looking great after a very long, and very hot day. Kudos guys, you were all awesome!

I needed a tall pine near my house thinned out, so called Capital Tree Service today and spoke with Ashley. She said she'd get a crew over as soon as possible, and Woody and Willy showed up a mere 20 minutes later!! They did an awesome, 5-star job! I knew already that Capital's crews were extremely busy this week, so imagine my surprise when the guys showed up so promptly. They were safe and efficient, and cleaned up so well that after they'd gone, there was no trace. Well done, Capital!!

I highly recommend Capital Tree Service! A hand shake sealed the project! The employees are extremely hard working. About the time a limb hit the ground, it was hauled off. I had a tree that was really tall and surrounded by smaller ones, that I didn't want damaged. CTS did an awesome job and no other trees were touched. They all worked in a professional, timely manner. Michael and company were very prompt and reasonable. They removed several large pines, ground down the stumps and removed all debris. The pines were located very near the house. They paid attention to detail to ensure no damage would be done. I would absolutely use them again if needed and recommend them to others for service. Job well done.

Michael And his crew did a great job of trimming several trees for me one really large one. Their cleanup was amazing. Very courteous, professional, and prompt. Will use them again, and highly recommend.

I can't say enough about this company. They were prompt, courteous, respectful and no doubt knew exactly what they were doing. Young fellows, hard workers, very professional and extremely careful. Paid attention to every detail, including where they would drop the trees, especially since they were close to the house and over the roof. They were very well prepared with a chipper and chain saws to cut up the bulk of the trees to load in another truck, which they would fill and have to return again to fill up. Simply amazing! Reasonable. I would absolutely use them again if needed. They removed several very tall trees, grinded the stumps, trimmed some other trees back and did a nice clean up. They were here on time for the estimate. I called them the morning I got the permit. A team of guys showed up that same day around 3:30 and stayed until dark, around 6:30. Showed up the next morning before 8:30 and never stopped until they were through. Unbelievable!

These guys were amazing. They took out a few big trees and some smaller shrubs in our yard and did such a great job. They did all that work in just one day. They were very professional, were here on time and their cleanup was so thorough, you would've never even known they were here after they left. I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know. This is an awesome group of guys! In 2 1/2 hours they had 5 pines down and cleaned up. There were no shrub or other tree casualties, We were truly impressed. They were courteous and listened to us. I would recommend the company to everyone. Thanks guys!

Michael Marek and his team took out a 60 ft red oak for me today and did a excellent and skillful removal. Large limbs were hanging over my roof and my meighbor’s roof as well. The work was done in s timely manner with no damage. Cleanup was thorough as well. I would highly recommend Capital Tree Service for a fair price and professional tree removal. Simply awesome!! These guys really know their stuff!! Showed up on time. Worked hard the entire time they were here. Kept things picked up as they moved along removing 3 large trees, reshaping bushes, pruning trees. Mike Marek the bossman and co-owner really knows his stuff and he didn't sit behind a desk, he worked alongside his team of 3 to really shape up our property, which had been neglected for several years. As a result, our view of the Elizabeth River, which had been partially blocked by poorly pruned and diseased oaks, was fully transformed into a breathtaking panorama of sky, marsh, and wildlife. Best of all, his price was reasonable and he went beyond the terms of our agreement to address a variety of additional tasks.
