I can relate to some of the negative reviews. We bought a kitchen table and pantry. Unknown to us, the delivery men dropped the pantry and broke a leg. They moved the furniture into the house and didn't mention the damage. We noticed later that day and I've had several truly disappointing calls with customer service - this is the worst customer service I've encountered. I've called The Dump (Oaks) and spoke to some of the sales people - two were outstanding and went way out of their way to help us. Couldn't get a replacement until the furniture repair guy came out and took a look - as soon as he saw it (I sent very good pictures of the damage the day of delivery), he said it was irreparable. It took 6 weeks for him to visit us and he came the Friday (the repair service only make house calls every other Friday...) before Easter. As of 4/8, I am still waiting to hear about the replacement pantry...I called customer service yesterday and was told it was not a manufacturing defect and management was still reviewing our case. I called the Dump today and the sales person reviewed our case and said the customer service agent she spoke to recognized my name and was just about to call me - that was 30 minutes ago.

I purchased a bed from the dump towards the middle of September it's was great for the first month. the movers installed the bed in my home made a complete hack job out of the ordeal . Loose screws scratched the finish and even somehow managed to put a deep scratch into my wall 3 feet long from the headboard some how. Now after two months the bed has completely fallen apart and I called there . Surprising enough they sounded so happy to send someone out to fix the issues I was having and what do you know his repair was less then satisfactory . Wood screws holding the legs on wood screws and washers holding the base that the box spring sits on .fast foward to now and my bed has completely fallen apart and now the complete right side is in pieces and the box spring is on the floor .i highley advise anyone to not buy anything from this place as I have quickly realized why they are called the dump..... Save the money and go to Kmart not what I expected after nearly spending $800 on this"quilty" deal

There is a reason they call this place The Dump.... So let's just start with one small positive thing, the sales associate I delt with was amazing. Enough of that now read this :
So I ordered my bedroom furniture here and paid in full and set my delivery date , the delivery guys called me and said we will be there in 25-30 mins , 3 1/2 hrs later I am on the phone with the sales rep, the shipping company, 2 different managers and also their corporate office( which bay far is the WORST ) finally I get an ignorant snarky manager who says that someone in the warehouse told them to hold my furniture off the truck. WHY ? For no damn apparent reason. Then this idiot of a manger tries telling no I caneled the order. But does anyone even call me at any point ? NO ! Not only did I take off work for this crap , but then they tell me we cannot do a damn thing to help you nor will we compensate you for our mistake. So now I had to take off another day of work to wait around for these morons to fix their own mistake . What a NIGHTMARE !!!! Do not ever shop at this DUMP . They will screw you over like they did me . Oh and by the way Corperate low life Antwanette or how ever you spell your ridiculous name , learn so people skills because you were rude and have no cuth!

Steve Baronie, salesperson at the Oaks, Pennsylvania DUMP store, is an outstanding salesperson! We've purchased three mattresses, a desk and a chair from him. When we visit the DUMP, we always look for him. Please recognize Steve!

Ordered a bedroom furniture suite - had flawless delivery within a week. I shopped and compared prices at numerous furniture stores and I couldn't beat Dump's prices for quality found elsewhere.

The Dump has high end furniture for lower cost but you may not always find what you want. You need to be ready to go back several times to find what works for you. I finally saw a living room set that I liked. I also got two rugs that my wife fell in love with.

Highly recommend! Unlike typical furniture stores, you are free to browse without pressure and follow up phone calls from sales people. There is a hugh selection and new pieces weekly. The service is great from the sales in the store to the very accommodating delivery service. Since they deliver on week ends and holidays, there is no reason to take off from work. I had my new bed and mattress delivered and set up on Memorial Day! If you've done your homework by becoming knowledgable about current furniture, quality and pricing, you'll know the deals there when you see them.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! Items...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! Items were paid in full on January 26, 2014. Delivery was scheduled on February 4, 2014. The delivery drivers arrived late. The headboard, foot board, and rails did not match. I had to provide proof to the driver and customer service. Customer service instructed me that someone from the store would give me a call the next day to supply me with my items and reschedule delivery. The drivers proceed to take the headboard, foot board, and rails back to the truck. I never received a call. I called the store on 02/07/14. I went back and forth between customer service and the store until I was notified of a re-delivery date of 02/14/2014 (19 days after original purchase). Delivery was rescheduled again due to the snow to 2/19/14. On February 19, 2014 (24 days after original purchase), the delivery drivers did in fact arrive during their scheduled time frame. The headboard, foot board, and rails were not on the truck although the notation to ensure that all the pieces were to line up was on the order form. The delivery driver of course called his manager and this person had no idea what the problem was and stated that he would look into it and a manager would return my call later in the day. To date, no manager has reached out to me. In addition, that person requested that I have the delivery driver call customer service. The delivery driver and I completed a call to customer service rep who was very nasty and inconsiderate on the phone. She informed me that her computer records stated that the item was still "in transfer". She explained that she was sending information out and someone would return the call the following day to explain further. From the previous experience, I doubted that would happen and still hasn't. I called customer service myself later on in the day for additional information only to find that they were closed to the customer base on Wednesday's. I did not have the direct access number the delivery drivers use. I called customer service again 02/20/14. I was connected to someone and I immediately asked to speak with a manager. She obtained my information and placed me on hold while she found one. After 10 minutes of holding she stated a manager was still unavailable; however, she looked into my records and stated that the item is listed as in transfer but no one at customer service would be able to give me any information to the exact location of the item or a projected delivery date until the store is open on Friday. I stated that was unacceptable and she stated that she could not help me - I would have to wait. 25 days after purchase and paid in full - I still do not have items ordered nor can anyone give me any information about where the items are or an estimated delivery date. In addition, I cannot return the item or the Dump will charge me a restocking fee of 20% of the item cost. Overall, worse experience ever. Customer services is nasty and delivery is horrible. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MIGRAINE.

Worst regret in my life!!!!

I also never write online reviews. This is by far the worst purchase I've made in my life. Apparently there's a "we can't help you if you purchased thousands of dollars of furniture from us" policy with this company. Management is a joke as is their 800 number. Do not buy from here! I'm letting the better business bureau and state attorney generals office know what god awful scam is being run here!

I never put reviews online abo...

I never put reviews online about anyone, but I think people should know how bad this company is. My husband and I bought a mattress at the dump Oaks, PA the end of March 2011 for $1300.00. It was an aireloom that they were comparing to a $7000.00 mattress. When they brought it my husband and I ended up sleeping on the floor. It was not the same mattress. We spent an hour laying on it in the store and it was nice and firm ( i have 2 bad disks in my back and would never buy a soft mattress). This one is so soft that you sink way down in itanyway after numerous e-mails,calls and trips to the store we ended up giving it away on craigs list. Please do not buy from these people.

Buyer beware !!

We purchased a bedroom set from the Dump. Not a floor model or sample, but an actual bedroom set that had to be ordered. We paid $4,000 for the set. We have had nothing but trouble and the customer service department is absolutely no help. We have had very badly damaged furniture delivered 3 times. Furniture that their own repairman could not fix.. each time they re-deliver the next piece is just as damaged if not worse. The delivery people are just awful... they have damaged my walls, railings and hardwood flooring. They will not refund my money and have given us a bunch of grief in trying to resolve this issue. Their answer is to give us $200. off of the furniture to keep the badly damaged pieces. I have decided to take them to court to resolve this issue legally. I suggest you go anywhere but the Dump for your furniture !! The customer service department is a bunch of kids that don't take the job seriously and half the time don't even document the calls, so the next time you call they have no record of the last call and you have to start the process all over !!! Absolute NIghtmare !!!

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever!

I bought a recliner on a Sat April 24th from The Dump in Dallas and was told that I could pick it up anytime the next week and pickup was open until 5pm. I made arrangements to borrow a friends truck and got there at 4:30 only to find out pickup closed at 3pm and was only available Fri-Mon. Normally this would not be a problem except I had to borrow a truck and we live 30 miles away. So when I called about this matter the customer service representative (Courtney- only one by that name apparently) from Houston was absolutely no help. She literally said she can't do anything and has no way to prove that I was told that even though I said she could call my wife or the sales guy who told us that and the only one that could approve a delivery is the president. Besides the fact she clearly doesn't know much of anything, she then ended by asking if there was anything else she could help with?!?!? Really??? What nerve, she can't even do anything by her own admission. Why even have customer service reps? I guess to say no and we can't/ won't. I then went to the store itself to talk to a manager, besides the fact there were no managers there until Thurs, they ultimately said they wouldn't do anything because of the value of the item $300. I guess principle doesn't mean anything to anyone these days even though this time they agreed it was there mistake. While I know it was the sales guy mistake, he fessed up apologized and ultimately made arrangements to drop off the chair himself, which he did. Bottom line, The Dump itself has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, they really don't care. While the sales guy, Brad Parsley, did cause the error, he did what it took to make up for it. If you ultimately go to The Dump in Dallas ask for Brad Parsley, because in the end he will take care of you, as for the company itself, horrible to work with.
