Terrible Customer Service. Clayton was extremely rude and very angry. He was nice in the beginning. He had to leave to get a part, when I asked to hold the piece, so I could take a picture of it, his demeaned changed. He became irritated, said if I was going to order it behind his back, he would not cover it. I said I was not going to do that. He became very rude with me and said I must be a liberal. My husband said just let him fix it and we won't use him again. Against my instinct I gave him a deposit and paid for the service call. The next day when he came back to snap the piece in he was nice. I knew I owed him for the balance of the part and another service call, but when he tacked on an extra $25, I tried to ask him about it. He became belligerent and started arguing and yelling at me. I deal with construction guys all the time, but had never had to deal with anyone like this. He was outside. I was actually a little concerned about what he may do, so I locked my door while I made out the check. He came to the door and started pounding on my door. I had a pool service man here too and had not been for that I would have called the police.
When I went to hand him the check with the pool guy standing there Clayton started yelling at me saying I was trying to cheat him. The pool guy told him to go he had his check. (I paid him what he wanted just to get it over with) He started yelling at the pool guy and he told him he needed to leave. Clayton finally got in his car and left. I would NEVER use this guy again.

Terrible Customer service with...

Terrible Customer service with a nasty attitude.

I called and spoke to Jim Clayton on Sunday. He told me he could not come out but to call in the morning if we needed repair. We called at 12 noon Monday and gave him directions to our home. He said he would be right out. At 5 PM when he hadn't shown, I phoned him to see if he was coming out. He screamed at me that "I'm not coming out there." Stating there was no such road. My husband and I live off a very well known and traveled road, which there should be no issue getting to. My husband gave him directions, which he verbalized an understanding of. He never had the courtesy to call us to tell us he wasn't coming, never called to ask for clarification. In my opinion, a bitter nasty man, that I would not engage to do business with.

My refrigerator stopped workng...

My refrigerator stopped workng on the evening before Memorial Day. Sears told me it would be 4 days until they could respond. Out of 15 calls I made that night - Jim Clayton was the only one who called back. He came to my residence the next morning (On Memorial Day!) and replaced the starter within a matter of minutes, for a reasonable price. This kind of dedicated response is unique and he is a service person who was knowledgeable, prompt and professional.
