C.W. Fischer Electric, Inc was incorporated in 1968 when Charles W. Fischer Sr., after working in the trade for eight years, obtained his master electricians license and broke away from the company he was working for at the time to start his own company, thus the name C.W. Fischer Electric, Inc The company was started with one pick-up truck, an apprentice electrician and a warehouse. In the early days of the company our focus was mainly on small residential jobs such as the wiring of wall a/c's, service upgrades and small additions. As the years went by and more electricians were hired, the business began to expand and take on more work mainly in Broward County. In 1985 Claude Mitchell, who had already worked for the company for eleven years, obtained his Master Electricians license in Palm Beach. In 1991 after obtaining his degree in Construction Management from the University of Maryland, Mr. Fischer's son, Charles W. Fischer Jr. ( Chuck ), started for the company full time.
