Zachary's Pizza in Oakland is my favorite pizza in the Golden State of California. They serve regular style but their specialty is deep dish. Comparable to Chicago deep dish pizza but the weather is much better in February. The wait can be long but you can order your deep dish while you are waiting for a table and it will be ready when your table is ready.

Try the pesto, try anything, just try it.

Zachary's is pretty good. Can't say I've ever had deep dish pizza from anywhere else, so it's hard to compare. Two slices usually gets the job done.

I come here to buy my Pizza Dough. They sell you a ball of Pizza Dough for $3.00. And one ball can generally make about 2 medium size pizza's. What a Bargain!



They make good Pizza. If they were located in Chicago, I'd probably not go there, but being you don't have much of a choice out here. They are cool in my book.

Good pizza! Call ahead and order a half baked to go, then have it at home, just as good as eating it there. Parking sucks. Best time to go is before 5 on a weekday!

Zachary's Pizza surpasses all others. Delicious and yummy! The atmosphere of the restaurant (if you eat in) is really cool too. Worth the waiting time.
