Non Authentic Food - Awful Managment(Owner)

Samuri Sushi Boat: (poor) Bad Management and below medioaker food. Korean owned Japanese restraunt (non-authentic). My husband and I went in on Sept 15, 2007 at 7pm on a Saturday to find that the place was quite empty. After our experience, we figured out quickly why they did not have much business after being open for almost a year. Our first impression was the service was not bad but the food wasn't the best we've had. After finding out they have a frequent dinners program, we decided to join membership. The contract states "Sign up now to join and earn points as early as today". So we did just that. Each point is earned by every dollar you spend. We spent $57.00 so according to the contract we earned 57 points that day. Confused as to why we didn't seem to be getting our points at the end of the meal, we asked a waitress if we were getting points for this meal and she said, "yes". However, we were not given a reciept or anything to show for... so we flagged another waitress down and asked her how we were going to get our points. She didn't seem to understand the process of the program so we asked to speak to the manager (who is the daughter of the owner). Once the manager came, she acknowledged that they were in the wrong and would correct the contract but they would not honor our 57 points that we earned. She told us that "rules and terms of contract are subject to change at anytime" so if it didn't benefit them then they will change the rule of the contract. The staff told us we would get the points, the contract we filled out states we would get the points the day of filling out the application, yet they did not honor what their restraunt commited to. The restraunt is a scam and we were amazed that management would not take responsibilty for thier wrong. This restraunt does not have the foresite to see the bigger picture in the future. For only $10, they are willing to lose long term customers and gain a bad reputation. This family owned restraunt is only interested in the money, not the customer... shame, shame, shame. We will not be returning and if you are looking for a good japanese restraunt this is not the place to go (the food is not authentic and my husband and I ended up with a bad stomach ache, etc after the meal was done).
