My family and I were having a horrible time with the remodel of our home. When we purchased the house, we chose to remodel the bathrooms. The contractor we selected gave us a fair estimate however the final cost, once "unknown circumstances" arose, was over 50% higher than the original quote.



One year later, we moved on to our kitchen remodel and, to say the least, were very concerned about selecting another contractor. We received 4 quotes and I was amazed at the detail of the Red Boot Construction estimate. Richard (the General Contractor) walked us through the project thoroughly and asked us an incredible number of questions bringing to light some potential issues that none of the other contractors even considered. He also visited our home one last time before we signed the contract to go under the house and into the crawlspace to ensure we were not going to get hit with surprises.



As we had been burned before, we stayed in constant communication with Richard (perhaps too much) to ensure the project was going smoothly. He was polite and took the time to keep us informed of each day's expectations. The crew completed the kitchen in precisely the number of days quoted and we were able to host friend's for dinner the very next night. Everyone was so impressed with the quality of the kitchen and I'm guessing Red Boot got a referral or two.



I will say that Red Boot was not the cheapest of the quotes that we received however their quote was far more detailed and I expect the other contractors may have come in at a final price closer to the Red Boot quote. Regardless, we are so happy that we selected them and are now in the process of designing a new outdoor living area that Red Boot will be building just in time for summer BBQs.
