Beware. Don't use Scott Phipps if you care about your family member or your finances. He pays himself large amounts and does not pay attention to the wishes of the clients. He also takes sides in family disputes and acts like a high school kid. He is a vicious immature greedy conservator! Reported him to the State of California and the courts. They paid no attention. BEWARE!

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Beware of this company. Beware all seniors. They grossly overstep. They agree to do fiduciary duties then become conservators. Scott Phipps of Phisco Fiduciary was entrusted with fiduciary duties for Elinor Frerichs and then made himself conservator of this very rich, little old lady in her nineties - Elinor Frerichs.

Elinor lives at Lakeside Park Assisted Living in Oakland and has not been diagnosed with Dementia but is in a locked dementia unit. Scott Phipps got a judge to give him conservatorhsip and agree to take Elinor's rights away - including to not allow her to attend her own court hearing. Scott Phipps, as Elinor's conservator makes all of Elinor's decisions and will not allow Elinor to have visitors, phone calls, or mail. Elinor's situation is inhumane and a gross violations of her rights. Scott Phipps' motivation for his actions and behavor - Elinor's money of course. Advocacy groups and citizens are trying to correct this gross injustice.
