Halftime is the best sports bar in Oakland to watch any sporting event, but especially if you are an A's, Raiders, or Warriors fan, this is the place to be. Very friendly service, drinks are reasonably priced, owner is in the mix making sure everyone is having a good time, and the atmosphere is electric when our hometown teams are on the screen. My only critique is on the food, the only things that looked really good were the burgers and wings, which I don't eat, I would eat there if they added some enticing veggie options, or at least better fries.



Recently watched Game 4 of the A's ALDS there and every hit in the bottom of the ninth had the bar going absolutely crazy. It was so fun celebrating with my friends and the other people who were there and I've never experienced anything like that. I'm hoping that halftime will never close because it seems like it is already making a name for itself and I think it epitomizes what Oakland is all about-

Great service, very friendly place to watch a game or just have a drink!!! The food is excellent!!! The drinks are very reasonable and all the servers are real nice!! There are so many TV's there is not a bad seat in the house!! Parking lot right across the street so there is always a place to park!! The owner James is always there and very friendly!! The security makes you feel real safe ( although i really don' think thet need 1)!! After a 1 time James remembered my name and greeted me at the door!! Best place to watch a game in the Bay Area!!
