We were excited for the long awaited re-opening as Calhoun's after the Riverside sold. Big disappointment. They took away the huge tables from outside (they might have been a tad too big) and replaced them with tables far too small for even a couple with 2 young children. We were seated at a table that didn't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. Our waitress was friendly but amateurish and continued to forget everything we asked for. The new menu is tiny so we opted for burgers. The burgers were fairly juicy but completely devoid of flavor. They literally fried up some ground beef (cheap beef at that) without so much as a pinch of salt or pepper on it. My "medium well" burger was almost medium. My wife's "medium well" was medium rare. Fries were average.

Overall, the food and choices were far better when it was the Riverside. It's a big disappointment since the location is so beautiful. Why buy such a fantastic restaurant just to serve sub-par pub food?
