“A Gem in Oak Park”



I was invited to a party hosted at his place by one of my friends last weekend. He keeps raving about this place for long time. Finally I got my chance to check it out.



First off, the food are excellent. They cooked all dishes with fresh ingredients and not very greasy at all as you might usually get from a typical Chinese place. We also tasted few dishes not on the menu. They are very delicious! Asked for specials items next time when you are there.



Second, the place is very clean and well organized. Plenty of room for a large party. I saw lots of locals picking up their food over the counter as we were there. So you don;t have to compete with them for tables. After few beers, I visited bathroom couple times. They are spotless..I'm confused for awhile as if I'm at a 5 star restaurant.



Third, the service was excellent. Very friendly staffs and honored our requests accurately for special cooking requirement. One of my friend is very particular about the level of spicy she would like for a dish. The waiter and kitchen staff translated it perfectly for the request. Service was very prompt. This is Saturday night. The place was pretty crowded. They handled the pace very well for us. We didn't have to wait too long for our appetizers and main dishes, at the same time, also didn't feel were rushed neither.



Overall, well worth a 30 min drive for me to check this new place out, and it can be one of my favor place for my social events in the future.

This is a great Chinese restaurant. It features authentic northern Chinese dishes, especially food you will find in Beijing local food establishments. Owner did a great job in remodeling this place to serve their local upscale clienteles. The place is very clean and spacious, which is not what you typically see in your local Chinese take-out places.

Their service is also great for their family oriented customer base. Nothing fancy, but they make sure you will enjoy your meal and have a good time.

Price is very reasonable and portion is huge. Great value!
