The Art and Antique Centre, also known as Gilda Arts Gallery, is a hidden gem in Oak Brook. I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack one Saturday afternoon and noticed the Centre's golden lit sign across the street. Intrigued I decided to walk across the street. I walked up the stairs and boy was I surprised.



The gallery is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The staff was pleasant and the atmosphere was serene. I felt like I was downtown Chicago. Not only does the Centre sell artwork but they offer art classes!! ! There was an exhibiting artist named Nick Freeman. His oil paintings were very nice. I really liked his work. I will definitely go back to check out their collection and possibly take a class. :)



More people need to check out this venue! It's really neat!!!!!!!!!!
