I love their donuts! They are HUGE and my favorite is the the heavenly cream filled donuts. Custard used to be my favorite until I had their heavenly cream filled donut. They are heavenly!! I also love the fact that they close on Christmas so families can be together. ;-)

The service is not good and workers are very rude. I do not like their donuts either and the prices are too high. the only thing that i liked was the blue bunny ice cream i got when i ordered my donuts. I had grown up in ofallon and finally went here when i was in town again and will never go back. There is so many better donut places out there like krispy cream was my fav and then they closed. I love Marios Donut and Cafe now as they are much cheaper, excellent service and excellent donuts~!

We have lived in O'Fallon for 12 years and have always loved Heaven Scent's donuts. So, when it came time to check out places for my wedding cake, Heaven Scent was one of the first places to come to mind.



I called last Tuesday to set up a consultation type appointment to get budget pricing for their cakes and find out the details about delivery, etc. After speaking with the first gentlemen, who transferred me to a second gentlemen, who then put me on hold, I explained that I was looking to set up an appointment to talk about wedding cakes. He said "I don't do this" but he took my name and information and what time I wanted to come in and said he would pass it on to the manager/owner.



So, my sister and I walked in right on schedule for our appointment today (Saturday), and much to my surprise, no one working had any idea who we were or that we had an appointment. After waiting for 5+ minutes of the girl using her headset and calling people on the phone, she determined that they don't do consultation appointments. She did give us samples of the wedding cake and a small slip of paper detailing that you can go to a website, choose from their gallery, and request a price. This is not my idea of a personal and unique wedding cake.



I was highly disappointed. If wedding cake consultations are not available, do not allow your employees to set up appointments. AND, they had my phone number, they could have called me to tell me they don't do consultations. It was clear that my information was never passed onto anyone.



I will still be willing to purchase donuts from Heaven Scent, but will not try to get a cake from them for any occasion.

This place is a joke. I just went to this place and showed them a picture of a rocking horse cake that I wanted to make for my daughter's first birthday (http://www.wilton.com/idea/Carousel-Horse-Cake). She said she wanted $275.00 just to make the candy horse even though I bought the molding pan online! This place is overpriced and overhyped and definitely not worth the time. I asked the person that was communicating with the "Cake Wizard" in the back how she came up with $275.00 for the horse and she said for the labor. Really? I brought you the pan and you melt the candy and pour it in. I would advise everyone to go to http://www.cakesbygeorgia.com/. Georgia sat down with me personally, said it was no problem and get this.....the ENTIRE cake, horse and all was $80.00. I understand and dont mind paying a specialist to create something but that was HEAVEN SCENT ROBBERY. Thank you Georgia for making my daughter's 1st birthday so special and cost effective!

This place boasts about it's drivethru service. As an avid lover of their fresh donuts, when they were next to Wal-Mart, I had no problem walking in to get a dozen, so when I partook in going through the drivethru, I fully expected the same excellent service. How grossly I was mistaken. Today, I went through the drivethru with two boys, 4 and 7, and allowed them to choose whatever they wanted, quickly as there was another car behind us. They ordered an iced donut and a banana split. I ordered a half dozen for the house. I didn't think our orders were complicated. As I was told to pull around, the attendant told me she'd have my total at the window. I pulled up and saw that the lady who was behind me in line had gone in to get her order. There was one lady helping that customer, another lady taking inventory and another doing something that resembled walking around. Twenty minutes later, the lady who walked in had received her donuts and the boys and I hadn't received our order yet. I paid $18+ for the treats we ordered. I found the wait to be entirely too long for as many people that were on staff at that time. The price seemed a bit steep for 7 donuts and a banana split. I will not come to this place again. With horrible service each time, for having donuts already premade and available (all they had to do was bag/box them), I do NOT recommend this place. If this is how they treat their customers for something as simple as donuts, I'd hate to see how they would fare had I ordered something more complex.

Excellent bakery with very tasty choices, but the prices reflect that they are paying for that new location, and paying dearly.

the quality of the food here is great, however the prices are steep and require us to only visit her on special occassions.... $15 for a box of donuts this day and age isn't an every weekend visit!
