I was in need for a good hair ...

I was in need for a good hair salon and have not been able to find one for months. I heard about Salon 8736 from a friend of mine. However, I live all the way in Finksburg and was concerned about the drive, but my firend insisted that I try them out and I did! I was lucky enough to meet Candace who is AMAZING!!! The drive is totaly worth it becuase she does such an amazing job on my hair! To be honest I have never recived so many compliments as I do know. This place is all around amazing... great atmosphere, great service, and my hair is AMAZING!! Thank you Salon 8736 (and espically Candace).

I found this salon when I foll...

I found this salon when I followed my favorite estetician Kristen Floyd when she went to work there. The salon is warm and welcoming, and Kristen continually provides outstanding services at reasonable prices. I recommend any of the services offered by Salon 8736 to everyone. They have occasional "Happy Hour" events that are fun, and they offer discounts on products and services. I have an appointment next week, and I cannot wait to go!

This place is amazing, I have been looking for a new hair Salon for the longest time and this is by far the best place that I have ever gone to get my hair done. The employees are so friendly and the level of service is above and beyond any other Hair Saoln I have been too. If you are looking for a new place or just want to make a change GO HERE !!!!!

I've been going to Salon 8736 ...

I've been going to Salon 8736 for five years and my hair and nails look great everytime I go. They treat me like I'm the most important customer they have and their prices are not outrageous like all the other salons in the area. I definitely give it 5 stars and recommend to everyone.

I've been going to the salon for years and just realized I could write a review! They are wonderful. The shop itself is beautiful, the staff are friendly and very helpful. I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes. I see Candace who is amazing, for all over color, highlights and haircuts. I'm there at least once a month for color and/or to see Kristen for my waxing and facials. She is amazing as well. She did all the makeup for my wedding and we looked flawless! I would and have recommended this salon to my family and friends.

MAYBE THIS IS WHY THEY NEED GROUPONS TO HELP BRING THEIR BUSINESS!

STAY AWAY!! THE STYLISTS GET LAZY AND DONT TAKE CARE OF THEIR LOYAL CLIENTS WHEN THEY MESS UP!!



I went to Salon 8736 for six years. I was always more than pleased with the work that was done there and refused to go anywhere else. However, the last time i went there, my regular stylist told me she thought doing an all-over bleach out on my hair would give me the same results I wanted as doing a full-color with foils. Since I had only ever gone to that salon for color (and to her for at least a year) she should have known the history of my hair. The first time she did it, my hair was brittle and dry but was fine. I went in again two months later to get my roots done (as I had always done) and she decided to bleach it out again!



MORE THAN AN ENTIRE TOP LAYER OF MY HAIR BROKE OFF FROM THE SEVERITY OF THE CHEMICALS SHE WAS USING!!!!!!!



Being a "professional" she should have known the nature and health of my hair and what putting those chemicals on it would have done! Instead, she was being lazy and trying to take up less time in order to open her book.



When I saw what she had done, I IMMEDIATELY STARTED CRYING. Her response was to blame it on me! Saying "well it cant be all from me. You must be putting extra heat on it" I have natrually straight hair! I dont need to straighten it! I dont ever curl it! And a hair dryer would not have done that! They did not comp my bill, nor did I ever hear from them again. No more post cards, no more coupons, no more "hey come see us" mail any more. Not even a single sorry from the stylist or the owner or anyone.



All of this caused me to have to dye my hair brown because no other hair stylist wanted to chance putting any chemicals on it. They were going to make me sign a waiver! I have never been a brunette in my life and never wanted to. Also, its a year later and I still cant put all of my hair in a pony tail yet.



They lost one of their most loyal customers. They lost one of their biggest advocates. I will never step foot in there again and neither will my friends or family.

I'm not sure what happened her...

I'm not sure what happened here. I was a customer for six months for acrylic nails. Over the past two months, the tech was always rescheduling my appointments when she wasn't rushing me out the door. I asked to be put on recurring appointments, which was done originally, but then the tech insisted on moving them around.



The work is done very well there, but after arriving for an appointment and being asked to return 3 hours later, with no prior phone call, I had enough. Overall, I like this salon and the work they do but I cannot deal with the lack of customer service. I won't be returning.
