Just wanted to take a minute to post about our experience at Kobe this past Saturday. We made reservations for 17 people for my son's 10th birthday. This is the 3rd year in a row that we have done this. When I called and made the reservations they made me aware that with the amount of people we have in our party that it would be two tables and they could now guarantee that we would be together. That was fine and they said they would do their best to accommodate us. When we arrived to the restaurant they told us they did not have to tables together and we would have to split our party up. When we were going to our table I noticed two empty tables in the back corner of the restaurant. I went up to what looked like a manager. Young white guy in a black shirt and asked him what was the reason that they could not sit us all together in the two empty tables in the back corner? He told us they one of the hibachi grills was not working correctly. This was a big lie. About 15 minutes later another large group came in and sat down at the two empty tables. To us it looked like he knew the people and spent a lot of time hanging around the area. We spent over $600 all together for my son's birthday dinner and it will be the last time we go here. It was very disappointing that we were lied to to accommodate a managers family and friends. Believe the managers name was Shawn. The chef name was smoky and he was awesome!!! We will be trying another hibachi next year..

The sushi at this location is amazing! I highly recommend the sushi, but I've never had thier regular food.

We love to go to Kobe's with family and friends. It's a great time watching the chef prepare the food at your table and the food is excellent!One thing that we don't like is the fact that you are rushed away from your table so they can seat the next party. We have even received our checks and had them cleaning up while we were still eating and not offered desert. Not that you will have room for desert. Overall, Kobe's is definitely a place you should try!
