The owner rudely insisted that I buy a $550.00 block heater for the generator (not a bad idea but wasn't pertinent ) to solve an engine misfire. This before he even looked to find the cause of the misfire and after they had worked on it 4 months before for the same problem. After making the appointment and, talking to the manufacturer's tech line

( tech line said a block heater has nothing to do with a misfire) , I changed my mind and and cancelled the appointment. The owner then left an unprofessional message on my voice mail. Maynard electric came out and fixed the problem in short order for a lot less money. Seems it was a fuel delivery problem.
