We've kenneled our dogs at other places multiple times. Our regular place was booked up, so we decided to try The Boarding House. Everything seemed OK until we picked up the dogs. The first thing we noticed was that the dogs seemed desperate to leave (at our regular place, they'd just as happily go back in). Then we got in the car to leave and were immediately hit with a strong stench. The dogs smelled so bad that we would not let them in the house until we had bathed them outside. Even their collars were dirty, with brown "dirt" caked on them.



We've used three other kennels before, and never had the dogs coming home smelling like they'd been kept in a sewer. We won't be using The Boarding House again.
