By far an amazing pre start school/daycare to start with. My daughters have beyond phenomenal knowledge from the time they were enrolled in Joyland Preschool.

My children have attended Joyland for many years. I feel they are receiving an excellent education not only in their academics, but also in extracurricular activites. I am kept updated on their progress weekly and if I have any questions I know I can call and they will be answered in a timely manner. I have noticed Joyland has added more language and extracurricular classes such as Chinese and piano. My children actually look forward to going to school and I feel good knowing they are in a safe and caring enviroment.

My son has attended Joyland since he was two. The teachers have been great and my son has received a good education. The facility itself is bigger than others I visited and includes a big toy room for when it is not appropriate for the kids to go outside. I also like that it is nestled in an off the path area versus being next to an office building or parking lot. The best testimonial I can give however is that my son is happy most days when I pick him up. His smiles say it all.

Took a tour here for the 2 year old classroom. The playground is excellent, and the school facilities themselves are pretty nice.

I love Joyland! My son is in the two year old class, and we started him during their summer camp session. Everyone there is EXTREMELY friendly, and most importantly, they are very nurturing. My son had a very hard time transitioning in to school at first because he had never been without us. With the guidance and love of the teachers at Joyland he survived, and now seems to really enjoy himself. I was shocked to see other teachers besides just his teacher truly helping him and caring for him. It makes a world of a difference to know that when you leave your child is in loving hands. The reason we put him in preschool at such a young age was simply for socialization, so whether they are playing with a purpose or just doing "daycare play" (like one reviewer said) it is a-ok with me! All I know is that since the fall session began my son has gone to class twice (totaling about 5 hours) and he is already telling me the names and sounds of letters, singing songs and.......potty training! I love this place.

Very happy to find Joyland. Perfect place for working parents. They are very flexible in regards to number of days and payment arrangements, they actually allow for unpaid sick days after you have attended the school awhile. The place is very cheerful and everyone smiles and greets you. Snacks are healthy (fruit!) and milk is served by the school. The school is very safe and secure. I am so very happy I found this school my daughter loves it and we already feel very much at home here

This great school that provides an outstanding array of opportunities for kids both in school and after. The math program is excellent, the science program in coordination with ECER's is extremely rewarding and the writing program gives the students great opportunities to improve writing skills.

I have had two children attend the preschool program. When they began first grade in the pubic system my kids were reading, writing, and doing math a year ahead of the other students. The school is kept up daily, the classrooms are well stocked with education supplies, the director ensures there is discipline in the classroom, and I get a regular progress report that outlines my child's learning activities and their progress. Truly a school worth checking out.

Interesting reviews. I do not think a disgruntled parent should convince you this is a bad school. I have had a positive experience at the school. My daughter went there for 3 years and when I put her in elementary school she was able to skip first grade. You can see that the school really cares for the kids and how they progress.

I have 2 boys that have been attending Joyland Preschool for 2 years and I love it! My boys love going to school. My son unfortunately is in his last year here and I wish they would offer higher grades...but since my son has been attending he has advanced! He is only in Kinder and doing 2nd grade work! Its small classes(unlike regular public) and teachers are able to accommodate to each students. I can never believe anyone would be have anything negative to say about this school.

I have reviewed many preschool's in the area and found that this one had all the accommodations I was looking for. Including opening early and closing late. As a professor I need this flexibility. I feel this is a good school simply because when I pickup my son everyday he always has a smile on his face. It is amazing how fast he learns but this a combination between me working with him on his homework and the school's curriculum.

My son has been going to the school since he was a toddler. My son is now in the LAUP program and is learning his letters and numbers. He already knows how to count up to 50 and letters A to S. I would recommend this school.

I do recommend this school. It is very clean and very nicely maintained.Sheila, the director, is very involved with what happens in the school. The teachers are wonderful and really pay attention to the kids! Naturally as parents we are very picky about where we send our son. He is 3 years old and he is doing a lot for his age. He is pre-reading, he "draws". I think he is well ahead of the curve for most kids his age. The school spends a lot of time making sure that fun is incorporated into their learning!

As a parents, We were looking for a pre-school that would give our children all needed skills for a successful transition into kindergarten and the social skills necessary to deal with life itself. We found that in joyland preschool. What a wonderful place to be a child! The school is extremely clean and beautiful with a large play area. The rooms are spacious and kid-friendly. The curriculum meets the needs of the children at their level. Our daughters knows how to write their names, count, and read couple of simple sentense which is very impressive. The creative projects the kids create are amazing, and they arrange many special activities such as gymnastics, dancing, singing and fieldtrips. Kids participate in wonderful concerts for New Years, Mother's day and Father's day. Kids provided with daily healthy and nutritional meals.

I am very happy with the hard work teachers and office staff have done for my son and myself. The safety and nurturing environment is very evident.

The TV the children are watching is always something related to learning. My child goes there too and I dont see any neglect. My child gets a cold too but so does my other child that goes to the public school. I think the parent below must be just upset with the teacher and bad mouthing the school.
