I bought a puppy from this business in August,2014. Within days he was very ill from kennel cough & pneumonia. My vet of 9 yrs told me that the puppy was dying & needed the immediate support that only Ocean State Vet could provide. My puppy was hospitalized for over a week. When he was allowed home, it was on an IV. PP would only pay for health services at their vet, but their vet didn't have the necessary resources to give the puppy the 24 hr care and oxygen he needed. At the time of purchase, PP had given me pills to give my dog for possible side effects for his flu shot, which the puppy store owner's son told me he got from their vet. During my visit with their vet, they denied dispensing the meds and the vet herself broke down in tears & had to send her husband (friend of PP owner) out to talk with me instead. Their information was conflicting & I was not able to believe what either establishment said. The vet wouldn't even give me an invoice to leave with to document my visit.
