Stay away from this clinic. Took my dog in because she was bleeding from her mouth. He opened her mouth...said she needed her teeth cleaned and gave her annual vaccinations and scheduled her for teeth cleaning on the following monday. His bedside manner is horrible. He kept saying that my dog stunk and had the worst teeth he had ever seen. He also mad a comment that her teeth were black. Had he taken a moment to wipe them he would have noticed that is was coagulated blood between them. She has had her teeth cleaned by Dr. Minnich 2 times in the past 4 years. Twenty four hours later my dog was at the Pet ER in critical condition. Her platelet count was zero and she was basically bleeding to death. They now have her count up to 9.000, but she is far from being out of the woods. I stopped by Minnich's clinic and asked to see her bloodwork. He mentioned a few readings were low or high. When I asked about her platelet count he stated that it was a little low. When I finally got to see the results I was shocked to see that her platelet count was 21...normal is 117-490. Not sure when Minnich was going to get around to reading the results. When I asked why he vaccinated her with her being sick...his response was that it was policy to vaccinate them before cleaning their teeth. YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO VACCINATE A SICK DOG! Good thing that I didn't drop her off to have her teeth cleaned because she more than likely would have died on the table. The ER Vet diagnosed ITP within 5 minutes of examining her and confirmed it after getting her results back from the bloodwork. Minnich failed big time on catching this because all the symptoms were there.

Wonderful veterinarian clinic who quickly jumped into action and saved my dogs life. Very caring and loving. Strongly recommend this clinic for all your vet needs. You won't find better. Dr. Minnich did a wonderul job.
