Rented a lab book and the lady said I was allowed to write and rip pages out. I used two pages and took it back the next day for a refund and they said no because I wrote in it. They said I still had to return it by the due date and that they would just throw it away. Therefore I don't know why they told me I could write in it and rip pages out if they weren't going to let me return it the very next day. Also, I don't see why I would even have to return it if they are just going to "throw it away." Rented the book from them for $127 and found it online to rent for $27. DON'T EVER BUY FROM THEM! They just want to rip everyone off. Look online at bookrenter.com or knetbooks.com because they are much cheaper and will NOT screw you like textbook broker will.

Last semester (Spring 2012) I spent $600 on textbooks and they saved me $300. I spent $193 in books this semester and they saved me $125! Textbook Brokers wants to HELP students get affordable books! They're always friendly, knowledgeable, and go out of the way to make a potentially stressful book-buying experience pleasant... PLUS the line is never long, unlike the line at PTC that wraps and winds up to the 3rd floor (3-4 hour wait.) I appreciate the fact that they accept a deferred payment for when you receive you financial aid money. I will NEVER purchase or rent books through the college EVER AGAIN!
