Whenever my husband and I come to Rhode Island we always visit Wickford, a great town with wonderful shops and restaurants and beautiful views of Wickford Harbor.

One of the shops we always visit is the Wickford Cove Framing Gallery. In addition to an extensive collection of frames and mats, the proprietor is very knowledgeable about ways to preserve artwork.

The shop also features framed art for sale, exquisite hand-made ship models, and one-of-a-kind jewelry. The jewelry has a nautical theme and uses native seashells.

Several years ago, I purchased a necklace at the shop. When we visited last year, I asked if the artist would be willing to lengthen the necklace. The shop's proprietor readily agreed to have that done and when I returned home (out of state) I sent the necklace to the shop. The proprietor graciously managed the whole process for me. Now it is the perfect length and I will wear it often and with great pleasure.

At this same visit, we purchased two framed lithographs and we are very happy to have them. In addition to the art itself, I was immediately drawn to them because of the gorgeous colors of the mats. They absolutely compliment the artwork in a stunning way and I think shows the talent of the proprietor as well as the artist.

We are looking forward to our next visit to Wickford and the Wickford Cove Framing Gallery!

I needed 2 things and I needed them quick. Our Third Annual "ANCHOR DOWN" Car Show was a week away (this past June 14) and I wanted to frame the second annual and third annual show posters for display at the Sampson's Automotive booth at the show along with a framed article that appeared in the May addition of RI Local Magazine about Sampson's Auto and it's owner, my son Brett Sampson. I met with Kerry at Wickford Cove Framing Gallery and reviewed the project. She made some suggestions that I never thought of and gained my confidence so I left it in her hands. The project finished in plenty of time at the estimated cost and we are pleased to have the work hanging in our waiting room here at 342 Compass Circle North Kingstown, RI. Their work is impeccable and thoughtfully done. The owner listens carefully whenever we bring in a project and she always seems to "capture" the desired effect. Wickford Framing Gallery treats our treasures as if they were their own. We have had them frame many, many pieces and we have never been disappointed.

What a refreshing experience! Amazing selection of frames and extremely patient woman at the counter. I spent over an hour there, trying on all sorts of different ideas. I was a little hesitant, with the amount of money I was about to spend...but OMG!! It came out better than I could have imagined. I have had a lot of things framed over the years, and never have I had such a professional-looking finished product as I got here. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for serious, top-quality custom picture framing. You really do get what you pay for...and more!!
