Jacks was started in 1942, on the corner of Burbank & Vineland Ave in North Hollywood California by Uncle Jack (not blood but), my father worked for and eventually bought it from Jack, then I worked for and bought it from my father, so we are sort of 3rd generation, I moved Jacks from the corner or 5560 Vineland to 5522 Vineland in 1987 because we are part of the NOHO redevelopment project and the city widened the street, so we are basically in the same location.
