After the first bite of my dinner I was pleased, despite the terrible service and super-long wait for food in a restaurant with very few customers. The prices were decent and the food was authentic and tasty. I asked the waitress for sweetener for my tea and she asked me why, did I want some? right now? then looked irritated. Then I made the horrible mistake of asking our very rude waitress for a flan from the desert menu. She brought me something resembling brains. I make it all the time and know what its supposed to look and taste like. I thought maybe this was thier take on the classic so I took a bite before feeding it to my son. It tasted weird so I took a closer look, it was riddled with mold!!! I am very allergic to mold, on top of that being absolutely discusting!! It could have killed me! I told the manager and waitress, both of whom shrugged it off and told me theyd throw it out. I had to stick my finger down my throat and leave with an empty stomach (to save myself from anaphelactic schock) and they didnt even offer us a discount from the $80 tab!! I was shocked and horiified! I have never had such lousy service and left knwoing I'd never return. Eat here at your own risk! The freshness of the food cannot be trusted! I am a waitress myself (as well as the lady I was eating with) and am very understanding, I would not write this for no reason. Trust me!
