I own my propane cylinder so that I can shop around and get the best price. At the end of January i need to order propane so I called them to check their price. I called them January 28 and 30 to check their price and it was $2.799, much higher then other company's price of $2.37. So I told them that their's price is very high and did not place my order. Then on 01-31-14, I called Amerigas, they offered me $2.37 per gallon, so I placed my order with them. Even though I did not place my order with them propane, due to their higher price they still deliver me the propane on 02-03-14. I called them, the following day and inquired about this unasked delivery. Instead of being apologetic, they accusing me that when I called them; at that time, I placed the order. I try to make them understand that when ever I need propane, I shop around and find the best price and then order it. I requested them to talk to their manager, and they told me that, he will call me latter. After several attempts, finally I was able to contact their manager Mr. Rick on 02-14-14 at 1:20 pm. Manager Rick also refused to accept their mistake and threatened to send this bill to collection agency.When I asked him, Do you have any proof that I placed a order, he said no but we have print order. Then I asked him that, Is it not possible that their employees can make a mistake. But instead of accepting their mistake, they trying to ripoff me by unauthorized high price delivery. I am very disturbed by their attitude and the way they handling this situation.

This company is built on exploiting customers. They appear nice and professional until a customer signs a 3-yr contract, then after that no service is expected from them. They had me sign the contract then they installed a regulator that makes gas usage higher, so I go through double the amount of gas that I need. So they sell more gas and make more money. The owner Ron is not nice at all to deal with. I spoke with a former employee and he told me that during his employment with Nutmeg, they have no computer systems, they write work orders as they go along as needed to show paper work. I cannot repeat enough DO NOT USE Nutmeg or you are making big mistake.
