My son has been playing at BBA for three years as well as attending BBA camp. He loves it and so do we. The coaches and refs always have the kids' best interest in mind and focus on instruction and good sportsmanship. BBA's family atmosphere and inclusive spirit make it a real asset to the community.

I thought we were signing my son up for a legitimate basketball league. It's clearly not for kids that aren't from Dartmouth or New Bedford. I feel new comers are not welcome. They hold evaluations but teams aren't "really" drafted, they are made up based on who knows who and who's coaching their own kids and who the coaches kids friends are. They don't even have enough coaches for all the teams which you find out after you sign up. For $10 per game, per kid, it's a waste of money. It's also a waste of time if your kid is an outsider and doesn't get to play on one of the stacked teams. It's really too bad the league is run this was. My son is so discouraged playing in this league, he may never want to play basketball again.
