Good work but hard to reach..........................................................................

Honest, good man! Has fixed our roof multiple times and saved us thousands . Williford roofing insisted we needed a new roof after our home was only 5 years old and they were going to charge us thousands. Rick assessed the problem by our chimney and made necessary repairs for few hundred dollars. This was over 5 years ago. He has made other minor repairs to our roof and friend's roofs over the years and has always been courteous, on time and professional. Don't believe the negative reviews...there is a story here about a certain someone wanting to destroy someone's livelihood based on a personal vendetta.

East Coast Roofing, Rick DeVries has a lawsuit filed in 2011. Google both names and find and then make your decision. Why would you use this roofing contractor when there are others without legal difficulties. I will use another contractor. It's important to do the due diligence before spending your hard earned money.

Go elsewhere for a roofing contractor

Although Rick DeVries just finshed repairing our roof for the second time (different place) and we are waiting for a heavy rain to find out the results of his repair, I am using his last repair 2 years ago as a gauge. Rick is professional, knowledgable, and honest and does not use sales tactics of other roofers. I had one roofer come out yesterday to give me an estimate and was told it would be a minimum of $250... for a VERY inexpensive repair...a few nails in the ridge vent and a little caulking around a small hole. What about a maximum? Nope, he wouldn't give me that number other than to tell me that after looking over the roof it's possible it could run into the thousands since he offered to make fixes in the rest of the roof. I JUST wanted the repairs where we had the leak! Don't upsell me and expect that I'm going to fall for this tactic especially in an economy like this one. I am not opening up my wallet for anyone and my wallet is not overflowing! This is typical of a business that wants big jobs (bulk) and is not looking out for the customer's best interests. Rick came out today, repaired the roof and did not play games about the cost. Rick repaired our roof a few years ago and we didn't have to call him back to repair that area again. Our home is 6 years old so the issues we have with small leaks shouldn't cost us into the thousands. Rick looked over the roof and explained all the small issues he found but basically told me it's still in very good shape and we shouldn't need any major repair work. Our roof should last the 10 years that a roof is supposed to last.

Ignore the negative posts about Rick. Go look at Angie's List...ALL reports, other than one (unfounded, really) are A+. You won't be disappointed.
