I was in Big Y after the storm and was very upset.I had been spending time with my sister who had just lost her husband. My cell phone was dead and I did not have a car charger for the trip home. I was feeling fearful of getting lost because of the amount of trees down and the roads I knew were closed. I asked one person to help and with a smile she directed me to her night supervisor Carmella who was so kind and sweet she made me cry tears of joy. After working long hours with many people looking for things like ice and batteries I expected someone a lot less compassionate. She not only helped me, she had the greatest smile on her face and I knew everything was going to be ok. Thanks you Carmella for your heartfelt attention. I walked out of your store feeling much better and I said a little prayer for Carmella and her employees. Keep up the good work anyone can be nice when things are going well it take special people to be nice under stress and pressure.
